समितिको उपाध्यक्ष डिल्लीप्रसाद शर्मा, सचिव नरेश सुवेदी, सहसचिव भवानीशंकर शर्मा र कोषाध्यक्ष ठाकुरप्रसाद सापकोटा छन् । समाजका सदस्यमा वर्णकिरण श्रेष्ठ वन्त, टीकाराम आचार्य, मीना थापा, गंगा पुन, प्रकाश मल्ल र सुशीला प्रधानांग छन् ।

साधारणसभमा गण्डकीका प्रदेश प्रमुख अमिक शेरचनले हरेक ठाउँमा राजनीति हुने प्रचलनलाई फेरेर सदस्यको हितमा समर्पित हुन आग्रह गरे । उनले आफू पनि एक अर्थमा बागलुंगे नै भएको उल्लेख गरे ।

उनले भने, ‘म्याग्दी भन्ने जिल्ला नबन्दै जन्मेको म एक अर्थले बागलुंगे नै हुँ ।’ सम्भ र सुसस्कृत समाज नै समृद्धिको आधार भएकाले यो आधार तयार गर्न भूमिका निर्वाह गर्नु सबैको कर्तव्य भएको उल्लेख गरे । शेरचनले बागलुङमा भएको तामा र फलाम खानी उत्खन गरेर पश्चिम नेपाललाई आत्मनिर्भर बनाउन सकिने वताए ।

दुर्गेशराज पन्त संयोजक रहेको निर्वाचन मण्डलले निर्वाचन गराएको हो । समाजको वन्द शत्रले सचिव डिल्ली प्रसाद शर्माले प्रस्तुत गरेको बार्षिक प्रगति प्रतिवेदन र कोषाध्यक्ष शिबप्रसाद शर्माले प्रस्तुत गरेको आर्थिक प्रतिवेदनलाई सुझाव सहित पारित गरेको छ ।

समाजका अध्यक्ष कुलचन्द्र शर्माको अध्यक्षतामा भएको कार्यक्रममा प्रदेशसभा सदस्यहरु कृष्ण थापा, पियारी थापा, ईन्द्रलाल सापकोटा, मणिभद्र कँडेल र दिलमाया रोकमगर, नेकपा गण्डकी प्रदेश सचिव गोबिन्द नेपाली लगायतले बोलेका थिए ।

संस्थाले शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य र समाजसेवामा योगदान गर्ने व्यक्तित्वहरुलाई सम्मान गरेको छ । सभामा डा रवीन्द्र श्रेष्ठ, डा टुमाया घले, डा ईश्वर शर्मा कँडेल, डा भानु कँडेल, डा टीकाराम आचार्य, प्राडा कृष्णकुमार श्रेष्ठ, डा रामप्रसाद शर्मा, अग्नि कँडेल र प्रकाश मल्ललाई सम्मान गरिएको हो ।

नवनिर्वाचित अध्यक्ष पाण्डेले समाजलाई बागलुंगेहरुको सुख, दुखको चौतारी बनाउने प्रतिवद्धता गरे । कार्यक्रममा समाजको स्मारिका बागलुङ सरोकारसमेत लोकार्पण भएको छ ।

सो अवसरमा समाजका ८० वर्ष नाघेका ज्येष्ठ नागरिकलाई समेत सम्मान गरिएको थियो । कार्यक्रम सञ्चालन डिल्लीप्रसाद शर्माले गरेका थिए ।
